Some helpful commands for linux, which makes your life easier.




Remove executable flag on all

This command remove executable flag on all files in current folder recursively (include all subfolders). This command affect only files (no dirs), because if you remove executable permission on directory, you can not open the directory.

  1. Run terminal
  2. Go to the directory when you would like run command (by cd command)
  3. Run command
    find . -type f -exec chmod -x {} \;

    Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
