Backup your current source.list file
sudo cp -p /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
Edit sources.list
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Uncoment Canonical’s ‘partner’ and ‘backports’ repository like this
## Uncomment the following two lines to add software from the 'backports'
## repository.
## N.B. software from this repository may not have been tested as
## extensively as that contained in the main release, although it includes
## newer versions of some applications which may provide useful features.

Truecrypt
Go to the http://www.truecrypt.org/downloads
Select "Standard 64bit" in "Linux" combobox and click download
Go to the folder where is truecrypt downloaded by cd command
Unpack downloaded tar by:
tar xvzf truecrypt-6.3a-linux-x64.tar.gz
Run extracted installer by:
sudo sh truecrypt-6.3a-setup-x64

Got to the folder where is file downloaded (by cd command)
Run installer:
sudo sh yEd-3.5.0.1.sh
Follow installer wizard (I changed installation path from "/opt/yEd" to "/usr/local/yEd")
